New Skippers Andy and Lucie Field - October 2011

Munro Yacht Charters are excited to welcome both Andy and Lucie Field as new Skippers onboard Boarding Pass 2. Both Andy and Lucie are experienced skippers and are delighted to become part of the team. Andy I am a sailing instructor and charter skipper with over 34,000 nm of sea time and have crossed the Atlantic twice, once on the ARC Race and on a 45m Ketch, raced in Super Yacht Cups and the Fastnet. Owning my own boat in the 80’s, racing in many Solent series, Fastnet races and spending so much time on the water confirmed my interest and love for sailing and spurred me on to become a RYA Yachtmaster Instructor for sail and power and a professional skipper undertaking deliveries of all types of vessels. Since the late 90’s when I left my career in the construction industry I have had many years experience teaching and running skippered charters in some of the best sailing areas in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. ‘It is great to show clients those beautiful places and exciting experiences that make up a special weeks charter’ Lucie Field Lucie has worked with Andy as a skipper/Chef team since before they were married in 2008, she is an experienced Private and Charter Chef plus Hostess and has worked in the Caribbean and Mediterranean taking care of guests whilst onboard. Influenced at an early age by her family’s involvement in the Hospitality and Catering industry, Lucie has worked in this field since she was young although she graduated from Edinburgh University and also spent many years working as an interior designer for international architectural practices. She brings her culinary skills onboard, looking after guests to a very high standard and ensuring their holiday is comfortable with first class service. Sailing and eating delicious food are two of Lucie’s favourite activities and she takes great satisfaction from watching guests onboard partaking in the same enjoyment. She only believes in using the best quality and freshest local ingredients to produce great tasting, freshly prepared and well balanced dishes. This, combined with great service truly complements a great time on the water. We wish both Andy and Lucie all the best
New Cruise sample Itineraries - January 2011

Italy is a beautiful country with sailing favoured coast on the west side of the peninsula. The eastern coast is less intended, but not less beautiful. Most of us know more about the inland, its marvellous landscape and interesting, historical cities. Nautical tourism has made a great progress lately and it surely helped the promotion of the Italian coast and its beauties. You will be amazed by its wonderful nature, islands, archipelagos almost invisible on maps, beaches, ports, clear waters, people, food... Not all the islands are approachable, however you can explore their surroundings as well. The Italian coast offers so many possibilities. You can visit small ports such as those we have suggested in the following sections, simply sail, go on a tour of the islands with ourselves or local boat tour operators, play part of some sport competitions, dive, or simply enjoy nature. We invite you on a journey along the Italian coast, a journey to the exploration of beauties and natural resorts. Make your dream come true and join us on one of the following or bespoke cruises aboard our Oyster 575, Boarding Pass III.

In Class One it was the Oyster 575, Boarding Pass III that took line honours with Sarabande hot on her heels, just three seconds behind. On corrected time Sarabande took first place ahead of Boarding Pass III, owned by Bill Munro and Susan Harris, with Stuart and Caroline Popham’s Spirit of Spring in third.
